Good Afternoon! Today I am sharing a Father's Day card using the stencil Retro Star. First I started out with a cut down sheet of watercolor paper and taped it down with some Purple Tape (affiliate link) from Therm O Web. I then took the stencil and also taped that down with Purple Tape. I took my pan of shimmery watercolors and water with a brush and colored in the stars with a bronze brown color. I purposely made them messy and different depths of color to add interest. I pulled off the stencil once I was done and let it dry. I then stamped the rubber stamp from Unity called Direction of your heart with Gina K Amalgam ink using my Misti. I then took a small piece of card stock and wrote with a gold sharpie the sentiment and glued it down to some black card stock. Then I took that and added some pop-dots and adhered that the the card panel. I then took a bigger piece of black card stock and backed the big panel and then glued this entire piece to the card base. Here is the end result. I hope you have a wonderful day!
