Good morning! Fall has arrived and is the perfect time to make some fall cards expressing thanks. Below is how I made this card. I used a Turnabout Stamp set and die from Concord & 9th. First I cut my square piece of card stock into a 5.5 inch square. I then used a small piece of re-positional tape to attach the paper to my cardboard "jig" to turn my paper. Using my Misti, I adhered the cling stamp and applied one color for every turn. Once all the colors had been stamped, I cut off 2 inches from the square card stock and set the 2 inch piece aside for a later use on a different card. I centered and adhered the 3.5 x 5.5 inch panel to the card base using 3-in-1 Beacon Glue. This glue leaves no wrinkle on the paper and you can re-position the paper before it dries. Next I used the big leaf metal die to cut out a leaf on kraft colored card stock. I used one of the sentiments from the stamp set to stamp on the leaf using my Misti. I then tied black and white bakers twine around the leaf and added foam dots to pop up the leaf on the card. I then stamped the Thankful sentiment from the stamp set on the back of the envelope. Here is the final result and all the cards that I made for a customer. These leaves could be used for any time of year, just change the color of the ink depending on the season. I hope you have a wonderful day!
