Hello, Today I'm sharing with you a simple birthday card for a friend. I took some cardstock and cut it down just a little smaller than the card base. I stamped a birthday cake and sentiment from a Fiskars stamp set that I believe is discontinued and then colored in the cake with colored pencils. I used pop-dots to attach the card stock to the base to give it some dimension. I then stamped a slice of cake on the front of the card and then a banner on the inside of the card. I love the simplicity and elegance. You could certainly add more bling but I was going for simplistic and this is perfect. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Good day everyone. Today I have a fun little giveaway to share with you. On our Facebook page, I have a post to tag your friends on the Giveaway post and for each friend that is tagged, you will get an entry into a drawing for the giveaway! You can visit the Facebook page by clicking here. This weekend I was attending a health and wellness seminar and at one of the booths, they were making cards for children that will be in the hospital over the holidays. As the event went on, the table was overflowing with cards and pouring love into those children. Something to think about is that giving doesn't have to be something large and expensive! A simple card can make someones day. Giving is a huge part of my why in life so, I don't have all the details laid out yet but we will be doing something fun for the holidays to give back to others. Post some of your ideas below of how you can give back or maybe what we can do as a group! This is only a fraction of the cards created and it was amazing to see all the cards lined up on the last day.
Have a wonderful day! Naomi |
