Good morning! Today I have a project that I created at a crafting event called Junkie Fest. It was 2.5 days filled with crafting.
First I created the background using Distress Oxide ink in two colors, cracked pistachio and broken china. I used a blending sponge to apply the color, then spritz with water, dry it and add a little more color if you want and repeat that process until you get the color you want.
Next, stamp the flower image from the kit from Unity Stamp Company called Hello Beautiful using Amalgam black ink. Then, use white ink and clear embossing powder to stamp the hello beautiful on black card stock from the same kit. Heat emboss it.
Take the Distress Oxide seedless preserves and apply the ink to your acrylic block. Use water and a brush to apply the ink to the flower. Do the same process with the cracked pistachio and apply that to the middle of the flower.
Next, fussy cut out the flower outline,
Next take the triangle background stamp and stamp in the background. Then take black ink and use a blending sponge to blend around the edges. Finally take some water and ink and splatter the background.
Take the flower stamp and stamp it in the corner so it come off the card using black ink. Apply the flower over the top aligning it. Then, cut off the edges so it is even with the card. Attach the hello sentiment and attach the card top to the black paper and then attach that to the card base.
Here is the card completed.
I hope you have a wonderful day!
Crafting has always been a passion of mine since a child. I love photography, painting, drawing, stamping, mixed media, and browsing other sites for ideas. My passion is also in horticulture so I love to grow my own fruits and vegetables and houseplants.
