Happy Mother's Day on Sunday, May 12th! Here is a simple beautiful card, pictured below, that I made using a stamp from Unity Stamp Company called Her Day. I had thought I was going to color it with watercolor but loved the way it turned out so simple in black and white that I left it how it was. I started by stamping the image and sentiment on watercolor paper with GinaK Amalgam ink, which is Copic marker and watercolor friendly. I suggest this ink so you don't have to worry about what type of ink you should use. Makes it easy to grab and stamp away and color with whatever you want later. I then matted it with black card stock and then added pop dots the back of the black card stock to adhere to the card. I love this image so much that I stamped it again on the front of the envelope. Clean, simple, and elegant. Mom loved the image and all the detail it showed. I hope you have a wonderful day!
