Good afternoon! I have an adorable card to share with you today. This was a card for my husband's birthday so I didn't want to share it too soon so he would see it. The finished card is pictured below. I wanted to keep it simple and clean to really bring out the stamped image since it is so detailed and those mice are just adorable! This stamp is from Stampendous House Mouse Designs. I stamped the image using Memento Black Tuxedo ink and stamped it on kraft colored card stock going for more of a masculine card. Next I took some colored pencils and colored in the image. I love how the colored pencil pops on the kraft card stock and makes the image stand out a little more. I cut then cut the image down to size to fit on the card base I had on hand. I took some black card stock to layer the image on. Then glued the colored image to the black card stock using Beacon 3-in-1 glue and trimmed off the excess edges of the black card stock. I also stamped the sentiment at the same time and glued that to some black card stock in the same fashion. I then glued down the entire piece to the card base. I wanted the sentiment to stand out, so I placed some pop-dots on the back and adhered it to the card. I felt it needed something else so I added some silver and gold sequins. I hope you enjoyed this easy and fun card!
Have a wonderful day!
